12/21/2018 Sebastián's last day in the lab. A very sad day. Here is the symbolic track he left behind. Of course he left much more than that over these five years, but we are glad to have a constant reminder in the office of his time in our group. Looking forward for his new achievements and for having him visit us several times in the future. All the best!

5/30/2018 Welcome to our new SULI interns. Annie Zhang, Junior in Chemistry from UT Austin and Bevan Whitehead, Senior in  Chemistry from Vassar College. They will be working with Pranjali and Sebastián on developing nanostructured catalysts for dearomatization reactions and 3D printing of chemically active devices respectively. Looking forward for a great summer in Ames!
4/24/2018 Jamie presenting his work at the poster session of the Ames Lab Spring SULI CCI  program.
Great work, good thing that in contrast to Texas, Iowa's winter/spring weather forced him to be inside the lab!
Explaining his research to Ames Lab Director Adam Schwartz and receiving a recognition from him.
Here with his boss and mentor: Dilini. Great teamwork!
4/17/2018 Celebrating Sebastián's Teaching Excellence award, and Sebastián and Dilini's Alpha Chi Sigma awards for excellence in research! Awesome job!
4/17/2018 According to Google Scholar we just passed the 10,000 citations! A lot of people are behind this accomplishment!  https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=amwt65QAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao
4/11/2018 Dilini and Sebastián got Alpha Chi Sigma awards for their research work. Sebastián also earned a Teaching Excellence award. Congratulations for the hard work!!! Making us proud!
